The Dravus Incident
|
"The Dravus Incident" represents the second installment of All In a Day's Work, an experiment devised by Matt Wesson where a very short movie is completed from story to premiere all within ONE day. It's similar to Seattle's Fly Film Festival - but even quicker. Shot all around Seattle in 1998, this project was highly staffed. Although it was unpolished by the end of the day, director JK took a remaining couple of days to shoot additional clips, record sound, and re-edit the project as originally intended to be shown. The result was a creepy 2 min piece void of character dialogue and backed by an industrial rhythm and characteristic radio chatter. The first All In a Day's Work project was a mock movie trailer. It was shot the previous year in Seattle and involved additional cast and locations, as first and second units were being shot simultaneously. |
